How to Buy
All items may be purchased on-site spring through fall. Jewelry, clothing, vases, and pottery may be purchased online and be delivered by mail. Outdoor art furniture may be purchased online and be either delivered, picked up, or for bolt-assembly benches only--shipped.
Online Purchases:
In order to keep prices low there are no credit card sales, thus no overhead. To make a purchase of jewelry, clothing items, vases, or pottery e-mail your order to buyit@ovidart.com. I will e-mail back confirmation of order and that items are available, and set those items aside for one week while awaiting payment. Pay with money order and I will ship items the day money order arrives.
Simple S&H and Returns:
Shipping and handling within the continental United States is $5 for all jewelry and/or clothing orders, regardless of order size or destination within continental US, and is non-refundable. All returned items will be fully refunded as long as they are still in original condition. Shipping outside the continental United States will require an individual quote for shipping and handling.

Custom Work, Less Than Wholesale
As noted in the About OvidArt.com section of the Home Page, this is a labor-of-love business aimed at providing inexpensive plants and unique art gifts that are affordable. We operate out of our home/yard and online in order to cut out nearly all overhead. We also pay ourselves modest wages and don't tack on any profit margin. This is all about the "doing" for us, not the money.
For the jewelry and clothing, I also impose a time cap on my labor. If I want to do a labor-intensive project, I allow myself to, but I impose a 2 hour cap on charged labor. For hand-painted clothing I impose a 1 hour cap. Following are two examples of jewelry with the standard practice pricing and my pricing.
